Kitchen Assistant - term time only
We are a welcoming and ambitious school in the heart of Sutton with supportive staff and 360 welcoming children.
We are seeking to recruit a hard working and reliable person to work with our Catering Team over the school lunchtime.
Hours: 11.45am to 2pm term time - fixed working pattern Wednesday To Friday during term time. Total 6.75 hours a week
Salary: £28,221 FTE, £4,365 pro rata, approx. £15.03 per hour, term time and part time working. Pay award pending.
The successful person will assist in the service of tasty and nutritious meals under the direction of the Catering Manager and will be carrying out general tasks such as washing up and clearing up/cleaning as set out in the attached Job Description. This is a busy job and teamwork is key to the success of the lunchtime service.
The successful candidate will be hardworking, have an awareness of Health and Safety regulations as they apply to catering and a flexible can-do attitude. Relevant experience either in a catering or school setting is desirable but training will be given. Candidates should be able to work effectively within a team and be keen to take pride and Aim High in the role. You must show a willingness to undertake training and to support the school's policies and procedures.
